ANNUAL CONVENTION & TRADE SHOW
The Nebraska Cattlemen Convention and Trade Show is a three day event during which members consider issues, programs and set policy for the Association. Council, Committee and Board meetings set the convention stage as the organization’s review and set policy. In addition to the business meetings, the convention includes educational seminars, entertainment and a Trade Show at which cattlemen can visit with suppliers of livestock and livestock handling products and services.
Mark your calendars for the 2013 Nebraska Cattlemen Convention: December 4-6, 2013!
Hall of Fame and Industry Service Awards
At convention the Nebraska Cattlemen Hall of Fame and Industry Service Awards are presented. The Hall of Fame Award is the highest honor that Nebraska Cattlemen can give one of its members. Selection is based on four criteria: contribution to the beef cattle industry; contribution to the Nebraska Cattlemen Association; community and civic contributions; and cattle business accomplishments. The Industry Service Award recognizes the contribution of individuals who are not active cattle producers.

This conference is held during the summer and it resembles the annual convention minus the trade show and council meetings. Cattlemen and women gather for the conference to attend educational sessions and committee meetings. The Nebraska Cattlemen Midyear Meeting is usually held in or near the town where the current Nebraska Cattleman President lives.
Registration for the Midyear Meeting usually begins in April and goes until June (when the meeting takes place). To register call the Lincoln office at 402.475.2333.
