The Nebraska Cattlemen is governed by the Board of Directors, comprised of representatives elected by the general membership, by production segments, by areas of interest and by geographic segments. In this way, representation of a broad cross-section of the association membership is assured. Board Members are legally responsible for the actions and financial integrity of the association. Thus, all association programs and activities must receive Board approval. In addition, the Board is authorized to establish interim policy for the association, which must be approved by the membership to become permanent policy. The NC Board of Directors, the association's governing board, is made up of its officers, regional directors and representatives of its four councils and five standing policy committees. The five-member executive committee includes the president, president elect, vice president and two directors elected by the Board of Directors.
