PAC Auction Benefits NC
PAC Auction Benefits NC

With some spectacular items – like the NC stained glass pictured at left – up for auction at the annual banquet during the NC Convention in Kearney, the winning bidder is the beneficiary as are all NC members and supporters.
The NC Political Action Committee (PAC) is a special fund established for the support of candidates for election to state and federal offices by Nebraska Cattlemen. In the next election, there will be 25 state legislative races, three congressional races and one U.S. Senate race – all with candidates that may or may not be supporters of NC policy and positions. Therefore, it becomes imperative that NC helps to elect officials that will adequately and accurately support production agriculture in Nebraska.
Up for auction this year is the beautiful stained glass creation above, handcrafted by Wes Petznick of Ft. Colhoun. The dimensions are approximately 25” x 9” and the stained glass will be framed and suitable for hanging.
Also being auctioned is the popular NC President Steak Feed. This annual item features a group steak BBQ to be hosted by the current NC president, usually held at his operation headquarters or home.
If you or your affiliate is in need of some membership help, bid on the membership recruitment services of NC president and NC executive vice president for a day! The winning bidder can put these leaders to work for a day in the membership trenches. Plans are also in the works to have an autographed volleyball from the Husker Women’s Volleyball team. For the Husker sports fan, this is a must-have item!
The PAC auction will be held at the NC Convention Nov. 29 during the Annual Banquet. For more information, please contact Michael Kelsey at (402) 475-2333.Y
