Nebraska Cattlemen Applauds Governor Pillen's Relief for Producers

LINCOLN, NEB. (Sep. 25, 2026) – Today, in response to Governor Jim Pillen's Executive Orders to provide immediate and temporary relief to producers, Nebraska Cattlemen released the following statement:

“Record high diesel prices are further straining the cattle industry after an already difficult year for producers. With challenging weather conditions in the midst of harvest, reducing fuel and transportation costs will help farmers and cattlemen. We appreciate Governor Pillen providing short-term relief.”
